An ancient settlement in Kapčiamiestis, called Pinčiaragis or Palangėlė, is a stone-age settlement located on the banks of the Baltoji Ančia River. During field research, the tip of a flint arrow was found together with embroidered and engraved ceramics, scissors and shards. Pinčiaragis is a mysterious area, but it is known to be related to important historical events.
