Černiauskai Mound

Černiauskai Mound (also called Leipalingis Mound) is the only mound in Druskininkai Municipality. On the eastern side of the mound, there is a settlement at the foot of the hill where rough ceramics, animal bones, slag and clay plaster can be found. Once, a clay cylindrical spindle was also found. The mound is thought to have been formed in the 1st or 2nd millennium.

Šlavantai Mound with Ancient Settlement

Šlavantai mound is located on a picturesque site, on the western shore of Šlavantas Lake in former Yotvingian lands. In the 1st-2nd millennium, an ancient settlement was located on the southwestern foot of the mound, where shards of ancient clay pots have been discovered.

Prelomciškė Mound with Ancient Settlement

This is one of the largest and most impressive mounds in Meteliai Regional Park, located on the western shore of Dusia Lake. A very long time ago, the Yotvingians built a settlement at the foot of the mound and a well-fortified wooden castle on its top. The Prelomciškė Mound offers visitors spectacular panoramic view toward Dusia Lake. Every July, the Oninės Festival takes place here.
